Wood firing. September 2014.

The latest firing had a mixture of functional ware and pieces made for their own sake - oven dishes and medium and large bowls with undulating rims.

Most of the pots had relatively large areas of unglazed clay which responded to the flame and "fly ash" in the thirty hour wood firing producing rich golden brown toasted surfaces.
